Gallery SHOES to go ahead as planned
International Trade Show for Shoes & Accessories
8–10 March 2020
Following intensive consultation and with the backing of the Federal Association of German Shoe Retailers (BDSE) and The Federal Association of the German Footwear and Leather Goods Industry (HDS/L), Gallery SHOES, from 8–10 March 2020, will be going ahead as scheduled. Major global events that have recently been cancelled are not comparable to Gallery SHOES in terms of visitors and exhibitors.
The necessary safety precautions have been discussed in great detail together with the Areal Böhler and are based on recommendations from the Robert Koch Institute and the Public Health Department of the City of Düsseldorf.
In addition to the already high standards in place at the Areal Böhler, there will also be a significantly increased and visible medical presence by doctors and medics trained in dealing with infectious diseases, as well as significantly increased disinfection precautions in all washrooms/toilets and across the entire grounds, especially at the entrance area. Plus: even more frequent cleaning intervals and regular ventilation of the halls, as well as information notices about hygiene displayed around the venue.
IGEDO Company is working closely with exhibitors from Italy to discuss individual solutions.
