SHOES DÜSSELDORF 2024: Trends, Innovationen, Design, Retail Konzepte und Buyers Briefings Vom 1. bis 3. September 2024 verwandelte die SHOES DÜSSELDORF das Areal Böhler in ein inspirierendes Modeerlebnis, bei dem die Trends entdeckt werden konnten, die den nächsten Sommer prägen werden. Ein einzigartiger Mix: internationale Brands sowie interessante Newcomer. 
THE STAGE und EVENT AREA: Wissen, Trends und mehr Die SHOES DÜSSELDORF bot ein abwechslungsreiches Programm auf der STAGE in den ›Alten Schmiedehallen‹ und in der EVENT AREA in der ›Kaltstahlhalle‹. Unter dem Motto "Rising Retail & Event Concepts" standen innovative Retail-Konzepte im Mittelpunkt. Als Add on, hatten die Besucher*innen in dieser Area die Gelegenheit, ihr persönliches Shoppingerlebnis zu schaffen und sich eine kurze Auszeit bei einem Touch-Up für Hair & Make-Up zu gönnen oder den Look of The Day shooten zu lassen. A unique mix: international brands and interesting newcomers.THE STAGE and EVENT AREA: knowledge, trends and more SHOES DÜSSELDORF offered a varied program on THE STAGE in the ›Alte Schmiedehallen‹ and in the EVENT AREA in the ›Kaltstahlhalle‹. Innovative retail concepts took centre stage under the motto ‘Rising Retail & Event Concepts’. As an add-on, visitors to this area had the opportunity to create their own personal shopping experience and treat themselves to a short break with a hair & make-up touch-up or to have the Look of The Day shot.

Early kick-off for Shoes Düsseldorf in 2025

In future, SHOES DÜSSELDORF will open the order cycle. During the current September edition of SHOES DÜSSELDORF the organisers already announced that the dates will be brought forward to 2 to 4 February 2025.

With this decision we are following the requests voiced by both retail and industry to position the trade show as a kick-off event for the order cycle thereby enabling an early exchange on trends and directions.

The new dates represent a strategic adjustment to the needs of the industry. This is of particular relevance since the styles and collections for Autumn/Winter 2025/26 will now be presented as part of three trade shows: FASHN ROOMS with its Showroom Concept as well as Neonyt Düsseldorf for sustainable fashion & lifestyle, held from 25 to 27 January – to be followed by SHOES DÜSSELDORF only one week later. This means shoes, accessories and fashion will be moved into focus at an early point in time.”

Knowledge, trends and more

SHOES DÜSSELDORF offered exciting and relevant side events. A varied programme on THE STAGE in the ›Alte Schmiedehallen‹ provided information including order information, trend forecasts, coaching sessions and digital tools. The HDS/L press conference presented the latest industry and retail figures and data – expert knowledge at the highest level.

A special highlight was the Ladies Talk ‘Ulrike meets Frauke’ – passion for people & fashion. Ulrike Kähler, Managing Director Igedo Exhibitions, talked to Frauke Ludowig, Creative Director VIP by RTL and current brand ambassador of ara SHOES GmbH on the STAGE before the subsequent tour of the trade fair.

In the ›Kaltstahlhalle‹, innovative retail concepts took centre stage under the motto ‘Rising Retail & Event Concepts’. There was the opportunity to participate in various buyers briefings and receive informative and inspiring retail impulses. Add on: The possibility to create a personalised shopping experience, enjoy a short break with a hair & make-up touch-up or have the look of the day shot.

SHOES DÜSSELDORF is organised by Igedo Exhibitions and is exclusively accessible to trade visitors from the footwear, fashion and textile industries. Admission is free of charge.

During the fair, photographs and film footage will be taken by the organiser. These recordings will be used and published in connection with the event for public relations and documentation, analogue and digital.
