Düsseldorf has once again proven its importance as Germany’s central fashion location. SHOES DÜSSELDORF, which took place from August 27 – 29 at the Areal Böhler, is and remains the most important order fair for the shoe and fashion industry. With a curated range of almost 600 German and international brands from the Premium, Contemporary, Comfort and Kids segments, SHOES DÜSSELDORF once again offered a broad spectrum of collections. The trade show is well established internationally: For the current edition alone, SHOES DÜSSELDORF was pleased to welcome 110 newcomers, including high-quality labels from Italy, Spain, France and Portugal.
Beyond the order, SHOES DÜSSELDORF is “the place to be” for information and inspiration. “Germany needs a trade show with relevance. A place where the industry can exchange ideas and find common ground. This is exactly the place we offer with SHOES DÜSSELDORF.”
Managing Director of Igedo Exhibitions
"SHOES DÜSSELDORF went really well for us. In addition to the numerous fixed appointments, we also wrote orders with new customers. We see the fair as an event. Hospitality is taken literally for us."
Reiner Pfeiffer, Marketing Director at Sioux Holding GmbH
"We were very busy on all days. The customers who come to SHOES are looking for collections away from the mainstream. Individuality is back in fashion."
Gabriele Accatino, Representation Viola Fonti + Managing Director Accatino
"The industry is looking for solutions. More than ever, ordering is about added value. Function, service, sustainability, re-supply options - these aspects count. Of course, always in combination with aesthetics. We appreciate SHOES to get into conversation with the trade about these topics."
Charly Schlepper, Field Service Manager Xsensible
"We really appreciate the show, because here we find everything in one place. We have neither the time nor the mood to travel from showroom to showroom."
Carsten Obermeier, Managing Director Neumann Schuhe, Hanover
"For us, SHOES DÜSSELDORF is an important ordering and communication venue. The atmosphere, service and side events are unique. We appreciate that. And our customers too, of course."
Rainer Barth, CEO Barth Shoes and Commercial agency Lorbac
"It is always worth coming to Düsseldorf. SHOES DÜSSELDORF is of great importance to us and a place of inspiration."
Klaudia Werdin, owner of Schuh & Mode Leukers, Straelen
"We have done well. Retailers are open-minded and interested in individual brands that are not available on every corner."
Michele Mimo, Sales Agent Cinzia Valle
"The fashion trend towards more femininity suits us very well. Retailers are more interested in slings and ballerinas. The new fashions are also creating more conversation. Advice is essential and at the right time."
Walter Breuer, Sales Director at Högl shoes and fashion GmbH
